How do we decide on what type of research project to grant?
In collaboration with the USASA Health and Genetics Committee and under the advisement of the AKC Canine Health Foundation, the USASF will grant money to a researcher or project that is deemed promising and will hopefully make a positive impact on the future health and well being of Australian Shepherds.
Through the AKC CHF, our Donor Advised Fund (DAF) will receive matching funds.
