2008 – 2009 RAFFLE FUNDRAISER
Through the generosity of artist, Paula Waterman and private donations, the Foundation is offering as our major 2008-2009 fundraiser, this beautiful BRONZE SCULPTURE raffle!
All proceeds generated from this major raffle will benefit the USASF's (Roger McKay Memorial) Health and Genetics Fund. This Fund will directly support Australian Shepherd research projects.
From the artist: "I started this sculpture at the 2007 National Specialty at Purina Farms, with the idea of trying to depict the archetypical Australian Shepherd. As I formed the basic shapes I was able to get the guidance of some of our most respected breeders and to observe first-hand some of the best the breed has to offer while working the clay. The result, completed at my home studio, is cast in bronze, using the classic lost-wax method of casting metal sculpture, and is finished with a classic bronze patina."

Tickets will be on sale at the 2008 and 2009 National Specialty. The drawing will take place at the 2009 National Specialty banquet night!! Winner need not be present.
Tickets are also available all year by ordering by mail. Tickets are $10.00 each with a limit of 1200 tickets offered. Please help the USASF meet its goal of $12,000.00!!
